Idk I hesitate to conclude some things here. But I also agree with Jesus' teachings.

I think Christ died for everyone, while also not assuming all will turn and follow Him.

1 John 2:2: "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

1 Timothy 2:4-6: "God our Savior...wants all people to be saved...who gave himself as a ransom for all people."

2 Corinthians 5:15: "He died for all."

Hebrews 2:9: "By the grace of God he tasted death for everyone."

John 1:29: "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

I think our free will allows us to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Its hard for me to imagine predestination while knowing God wants us all to be saved. If I concede that God is pulling his predestined elect, then it only makes sense to me to also concede he's actively pushing the non-elect away

Maybe I'm predestined to wrestle this forever. 😅 I appreciate your reply though, this topic fascinates me.
