Today was the annual Key Lime Club Japanese community Memorial Day picnic at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, right on Tampa Bay. Always a great mix of Japanese & their spouses / families. So great to speak Japanese again. Many of the kids we're watched grow up are finishing college now, and one is going to teach English in Japan on the JET Program (Japan Exchange Teaching Program), which is where I started my teaching career & which led me to graduate school.
