yeah, samsung is probably my bottom tier for phones while pixel is my top tier (as far as things you can get on a contract, anyway)
i've had a nexus 4, nexus 6p, pixel 2xl, and now a pixel 6a, and all of them were really solid devices. before that i bounced between so many other brands and there was always something i was unhappy with, especially in the software
