I often do tcpdump of my network and Google Android is one busy surveillance transmitter. My custom built Linux and FreeBSD computers are very quiet and I know exactly what every Ethernet packet is from and going. On a stock Android device, Google and their third parties are constantly looting my privacy, every curve in my heartbeat, and speculating on my hormones as I cross the border into a blue state.
