It turns out that one of the deck builders doesn't bake. No one at his house is interested in cooking. Now I have a new family to add to my bake them stuff list.
His favorite dessert is apple pie.
I was able to quick bake one before they finished for the day.
It went from the oven to my fancy cardboard pear box turned pie carrier right in to his hands
It made his truck smell very pie like for the drive home.
Tomorrow they finish our deck.
I think Summer will miss them when they go.
