'Twas the latter!
It was to build hype for a Mozilla blog post announcing Kit, the (cute) new Firefox mascot!
…Y'know, the same one it revealed last year.
But the it got people talking and speculating, right? In the attention economy = job done.
Mozilla's social media accounts have replaced the Firefox logo with a purple dot.
With the Nova redesign and Smart Window on the way, is an updated logo inbound – and will it make use of new Firefox mascot Kit?
