In regards to apolitical art (ideally, we're talking about stuff made by independent creators: actual people rather than corporate entities), it's less of a question of "is this piece of art (which isn't inherently beating you over the head with politics) made by someone with right wing views and will it be supported by those with right wing views?"
my take on the matter is that right wingers have a very brutalist sort of utilitarian take on things and for one reason or another are adverse to that kind of behavior. I guess it's the reasoning behind that behavior that I'd like to figure out.
