It took about 200 episodes for No Agenda to round into form and get the dynamic between AC and JCD solid. Took npub142axprcsl9sppvwjs5jjpmeuj3trgxv00s3yvptkyntc04tx4res23ccwa (npub142a…ccwa) and I about that many Lotus episodes to achieve the same.

There’s no replacing JCD and the ramp-up time for a suitable replacement is likely to be significant. Personally, I don’t see how the show survives.
