I lived in India when Koo became big for a time. People were trumpeting it as India's next big tech thing. But it became a haven for the BJP and Modi-Bakhts. Twitter is still surprisingly big there because its used by all the elites. Essentially it helped me understand that Twitter is basically a bunch of elites having conversations with themselves. That's why it is such a big deal among the media-political-entertainment complex.
