"content": "Yesterday, while I was watering plants around the house, this paperWasp hitched a ride on my right sock. (I wear sandals with socks) She seemed to have needed some rest, so I put her on the snapdragon plant right outside of the kitchen door.\n\nToday, just now, she came out of hiding while watering plants again, and looked like she needed some help. So, I placed her in a plastic container with organic apple core and some begonia flowers. At first, she was disoriented, but soon went for the apple. After several minutes, she seemed to have regained some strength. She’s resting under the jasmine leaves now.\n\nIt was chilly last night, the temperature went from daytime 35C down to 22C at dawn. PaperWasps love hot weather.\n\nAnyway, if she can fly, I’ll release her outside. But their lives are short.
