the problem with RSS is the TLA doesn't explain what it does today.
Really Simple Syndication was what Netscape called it as they were syndicating data by pulling it from other sites into the Netscape Homepage Portal. (news, sports, weather).
Today RSS is used to push podcasts into listening apps along with lots of metadata. But I don't think users understand the role of RSS. i.e Publish Once, Play Everywhere.
YouTube, Spotify and TikTok don't want users to ask about RSS.
