Yes, people living in the country need guns for hunting and protection.
The shooter who killed 9 people obviously should have never gotten a hold of a gun. He went hunting for humans not game.
Whose gun did he use? Was it his gun, or did it belong to his parents? This happened at a high school, but what I've read said he was 18 years old. Was he still in high school?
Maybe people who sell guns to mentally unstable people need to be heavily fined or imprisoned. And, parents who own firearms must keep them out of the hands of their family members, especially if they are showing signs of mental illness.
I hope Canada never ends up looking like the U.S. with rampant gun violence and death.
