It's 💯 unusual for them to both be there. The protocol is to separate the VP & Pres, but the video clearly shows somebody in a tux grabbing Vance by the shoulders & leading him to exit the stage many seconds before armed security rushed Trump out. Trump sat basically unguarded for several seconds. That doesn't seem like protocol, and it varied quite starkly from how SS immediately rushed the stage & surrounded Trump w/ their bodies in the ear-nicking shooting.
