Simply seeing & acknowledging that those aren't really my fears at all seems to be enough to significantly reduce them.
I'm letting that go. It won't disappear overnight. Nothing this deep just suddenly heals entirely. But sometimes a wound begins to close up, & I think this one is.
After so many years going round & round with these fears, & trying to "face them", I can see it's more that I need to just let them go. I didn't even know I was holding onto them. I thought they were part of me.
