📍 Iran has been firing Kheibar Shekans at American bases, "using a combination of different flight paths, maneuvers and speeds to try to confuse US defenses," US officials told the Wall Street Journal. "Some" have been getting through, they admitted.

"Some" is an understatement. Since the July escalation, Iranian strikes have targeted hangars, command HQs, barracks, radar installations, EW sites, ammo and fuel depots, and a host of other infrastructure across Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, and Bahrain — combining the use of Kheibar Shekans with less sophisticated missiles and fast attack drones.

➡️ Iran's Kheibar Shekan stockpile alone was believed to consist of 2,500 units before February, with the missiles accurate and cheap enough ("far cheaper than the US and Israeli interceptors used to take them down," per the WSJ) to become the backbone of Iran's missile arsenal.
