When I hear people talking about how, "We can't fight AI, because it's already here! It totally snuck up on us, and now there's nothing we can do, but adapt!" I'm almost glad that AI is going to destroy everyone. Because it did NOT sneak up on us. Some of us have been screaming about this since Facebook came on the scene--some people have been screaming about this since the freaking 60's-. And all of us were completely disregarded as hysterical. (1)
