I understand where you're coming from, and totally agree the centralization is a big issue, but to be fair to spark it's a fedwire where the value is held in Bitcoin and if there is 1 honest participant your funds cannot be confiscated.
It's the best model we have IMHO for noobs who want fast, cheap and don't value self custody and privacy.
But it doesnt mean we shouldn't keep improving from here
