I didn't like the DSF's post because it contributed to the narrative that DRF's days were numbered.
So I can't blame people like Dan for saying it out loud, but that doesn't mean there isn't some truth to it.
Sadly, when someone is evaluating a move to Django, when they ask people what Django's REST story is today, it's no longer as strong as it was a few years ago because of this shadow of doubt looming over us.
I don't like it either, but Dan isn't wrong.
