The U.S. Department of War released the fifth tranche of UAP files under its PURSUE declassification program today, August 7, 2026, consisting of approximately 513 MB of video and 130 MB of documents from agencies including the Department of War and FBI.
PURSUE is an ongoing declassification initiative launched on May 8, 2026, following President Trump’s February directive calling for greater transparency surrounding decades of UAP records. Previous tranches were released in May, June, and July.
The latest release includes analyses of historical footage dating to the 1950s, along with recent digital renderings depicting triangular objects with lights reportedly observed in locations including Colorado and elsewhere across the Western United States.
