it's been like 24 hours and it really feels like bitcoin twitter is indeed back (for now)

i dream of a mulitalgorithmic, polyapporous, open social media world where one man or ceo doesn't have a monopoly on the the "for you" page.

Twitter has always done a great job at letting you control what you see. You could switch to following, close the app and reopen and it will still be on following. you can not follow anyone and default to lists and view the world through that lens.

Defaults matter and it will always be a competition to game the algos.

Twitter clones also matter in the long run, but for nostr to break out, there needs to be a useful app for anyone.
