I've been fascinated by those symbols for years. Since first seeing them in the French caves, I've been convinced that they "had to" be symbols and a precursor of writing. The paleontologist with whom I discussed this - as a good scientist - refused to jump to conclusions from lack of evidence, but kinda agreed (but that was not his field of research). Now, I don't find it surprising at all they'd be found all over the world, most are the most basic symbols the human mind can think about ⤵️
