I've had angry itchy eyes for a day or two.

I'm not so long home from a long haul flight, and it's possible they are strained.

But how does that even work? Why does overusing my eyes make them itchy? I feel like the itch is in the edges of the eyelids, not like, eye-muscle-internal.

Or maybe it is the eye muscles still but where they have nerves is not where I expect the strain to be felt?

Anyway as someone who gets very bored when she can't read, this suuucks - I'm failing to rest my eyes.
