I know that some people prefer a high-end agentic approach with their AI, and that's understandable, but for me?
For me, Proton's Lumo has almost become my exclusive AI service at this point. Sure, I've had times where I needed to hop over to something a bit more advanced (Perplexity and Grok being my main fallbacks) but for most queries, I've really found that Lumo does everything I want it to, even with its (minimal) limitations on free users.
Not quite as ideal as self-hosting but still, having that end-to-end encryption and ephemeral storage is much better than relying on Big Tech. #ai #aistr #proton #lumo #encryption
