North Island—Powell River is an NDP riding where the Liberals have usually come 3rd or even 4th behind the Greens - sometimes with only 6% of the vote - since 2011. Gunn got in this time because people thought they were supposed to vote Liberal to keep out Poilievre so the vote got split between the NDP and Libs, giving the Cons a 6% lead.
