That makes sense. I do use the stacking windows in a tab sometimes, but I forgot about them from the moment I went to niri until now... weird.

I didn't like how they worked on niri, though. I think it was related to the title bars not showing so I had no Idea where was the window I was looking for, whereas for i3 the title bar appears when you stack windows and the active/inactive are highlighted differently. That helps me navigate the windows. Maybe I just needed a bit more configuration, but since emacs didn't work well and I need emacs for most of the things I do in my PC I had to cut short my time on wayland.
