I just find this too convenient. We have been told for a few hundred years that #capitalism is the best economic system. Then it reins unfettered for around a 150 years. Revealing its inequality, unsustainable, cannibilistic, sadistic nature…now it’s not true capitalism and has never been.
The sad thing is the inability or ignorance of those who perpetuate a system that has clearly exploited them for so long.
But hey, when the outcome doesn’t go as planned, don’t just move the goal post…fuck it, let’s claim the game never started.
It’s almost like we found another dimension to Stockholm Syndrome. It’s like watching Pam Bondi “testify” and answer questions to an oversight committee.
