My place has a mishmash of window coverings. Most have heavy drapes, which do some good against the cold, but have what I can only describe as decorative pelmets - it's like a skirt around the top, with nothing blocking air movement. I could cover these and be done with it, but they are also from the 90s, look terrible, take space, and are coming apart in places, so I want to be rid of them.
Other windows have basic rollers, a sheer curtain, or nothing at all, and desperately need improvement.
