Same. I quit when i got to the fight with the doc. I managed to more or less brute force the fight with Kimmy but when i got to the doc it was impossible despite the team i assembled.
The romhack i'm playing is an extended version of pokemon red with pokemon up to gen 8. Gym leaders have more pokemon (Brock and Misty had 5 so far) and from other games (Gary instead of a pidgeotto has a Trumbeak and Brock's ace was a Rockruff). I managed to nab a lot of bug pokemon in the Viridian forest but i still need to get others like Crustle, Leavinny or Vikavolt
