There are probably many ways in which I would agree with you about AI (LLMs) but this is a pretty strange take.
I'm a senior Software Engineer, and additionally one of those old ones of the home computer era who can "program anything". I find plenty of good use from having LLMs as coding aids.
Like, I know computers and coding. They're really good at doing a whole lot of stuff.
(I'm also nowadays in Cyber Security and will never use them for secure coding, but not all code has those requirements)
