Opus 4.7 became unusabe for me after 5+ hours. Skipping steps, missing instructions and becoming unresponsive. I asked about the increasing errors and it said there is context fatigue where the context became too large and it wanted to please me, so it cut corners. It suggested starting fresh sessions every few hours. It also said it was not providing enough information to sub agents it was spawning and not checking their result.
It is not capable of maintaining operational excellence.
