Some are, some aren’t. What is still left was not taken care of very well. It was a Sears catalog house, much like the rest of the neighborhood is, that was built in the 50s but caught fire and was deemed a total loss and rebuilt in the 60s. I’m the second owner of the property, and the original owner was in her 90s and suffering from either dementia or Alzheimer’s when I bought it a few years back. The kitchen, for example was completely original save for appliances and light fixtures, but hadn’t been really cleaned in years. The floor’s actually ruined just from all the filth that’s built up on it, and the cabinets are falling apart.
