Aditya Chakrabortty is right, the more you hear Rachel Reeves adopting Tory language on fiscal politics, the more the prospects for really dealing with the long shadow of austerity fade.

Reeveonomics may not yet be Osbornomics but use of shared rhetoric seems to grow by the day, leading to a fear not only that a Labour austerity is coming, but its will approach its predecessors' toxic scale.

We await the budget ever more in fear than hope!
