Weird thing just happened to me.
I pull into the parts store parking lot to check if my wiper blades are in warranty (they're not)
A guy is eyeing my car, says it looks nice. He says he owned a fragrance store at the mall that just closed down. He gave me a sealed box that allegedly had some perfume or cologne in it that was apparently worth $200 brand new. He insisted I took and and said the words "put it in your car" Said he needed money for gas, food, and a quart of oil. I said I couldn't help him but I gave him a quart of oil. He took the perfume back after I said I couldn't help with gas or food.
What scam was he pulling?
