To be clear, my reason for pondering these things: I believe the total elimination of Bitcoin from the planet is a necessary prerequisite for cryptocurrency becoming a remotely useful or good thing. I'd like to see Bitcoin eliminated from the planet. However, I believe capitalism will always find a way to do the worst possible thing. So *if* there's a path to BTC surviving and continuing to do at least some harm, I assume BTC will find it. I'm trying to see if I can identify that path first.
