Concur. If BCH is really solving problems then demand should increase. The latest upgrade makes it more competitive against ETH however must admit SOL has the lead in speed. That said think BCH is fast enough for day to day retail transactions.
A major hurdle in New Zealand is tax. Any transaction is taxed making it costly. People are advocating a de-minimis tax threshold which would held, a political decision.
Also for holding BCH is taxed like gold bullion, being similar to a capital gain at one’s income tax threshold, further impacting the reason to hold coins directly.
