Bitcoin’s rules HAVE moved. Op return was opened up so stable coins could be put there. Node decentralisation is irrelevant - Not so much a rule, but the basic nature of the network. Bitcoin has changed to allow greater adoption by fiat systems. It wasn’t necessary. But i wonder how much harm has been and will be done in the future.
