You are way too pessimistic. Having 50k 4k a month per family would balance out any downturn. This could go down to 3k a month considering inmediate instability
Also Quebec was planning to tell businesses to redirect federal taxes to Quebec, not abolish it.
Also people were scared losing their canada fund old age security
Albertans will have more old age security if independant.
