That is what I’m against. That’s why overthrowing the government doesn’t solve anything. It’ll lead to another group who will use collective coercion against me. Good luck convincing all these normies to live without a government. Half the country wants UBI and free healthcare/housing. The other half wants this police state bullshit trump is implementing.

The creation and sale of my phone is made up of individuals acting in their own self interests. They’re all working for a paycheck. No one at Apple or in a Chinese factory is saying, “I’m so glad to be doing this work for the betterment of humanity.” Sure that could be viewed by some as a bonus, but it’s not the driving force. People are naturally selfish. And that’s a good thing. So why do we act like it’s morally superior to risk our wellbeing for others? Ayn Rand would be disappointed.
