I think this is speeding up the process:
if someone is selling/avoiding btc because of this latest Epstein campaign then they would have done the same for some other reason (I mean, if you don't really inform yourself before having a stance on something, you would have capitulated to propaganda anyway at some point).
Let's get it over with asap with flushing out weak hands
