Last month was the 4th warmest April on record globally. It was also the 7th warmest April for global land areas and the 2nd warmest for ocean areas. Overall, about 7.4% of Earth’s surface recorded its warmest April on record. All 10 of the warmest Aprils have occurred since the year 2016.
