What can I say about The Odyssey… It was really good! It was a spectacle. I want to say "I laughed, I cried" but I really did not laugh – this film takes itself very seriously. I kept expecting the Time Bandits to show up and kidnap Tom Holland. There was a lot of it, and I'm really still processing it all. I felt the use of modern vernacular, which was definitely a choice, was distracting at times. The performances were amazing. I think my favourite bit may have been hades. I *do* recommend. 🐬
