You demonstrated the capabilities of your bot. This is irrelevant to the thread about a feature of human psychology which is easily exploited by chatbots.
It's not that chatbots can't emulate similar behaviour with rhetorical devices, it's that we can't turn our ability to do that off, and thus we're easy to trick with it.
