Warsh told Congress he still carries "scars from the 2008 financial crisis" when asked whether the Fed would bail out stablecoins and cryptocurrency the way his predecessor provided a "liquidity function" for money market funds.
He said the Fed does "not want to be in the bailout business, full stop."
