In my quest to get others to visit my website to see what I am up to instead of wondering why I am not posting or interacting on Facebook, I got this reply, which just made me sad.

I don't understand why you can't just post on Facebook where I don't have to click on links I don't know. can you make it easier on me and just post your blogs to your Facebook or get a Substack? If you blogged somewhere I know, I’d read it.
I think this fear of links is the worst thing to happen to the internet. Tech literacy is still an all time low, even in people younger than me. Tech literacy should be a mandatory requirement in all schools, and yes, I mean learn stuff like, what a link is. how to read a link. What HTTPS means. How email works under the hood. I don't mean code or programming.
