So being one that pushes back against the way things are done in order to guard my principles is actually pretty exhausting.

#Privacy is a big issue. An ex: I am often required to use different privacy-compromising 3rd-party apps for one-time sign-ups for one-time events (for a program my kid is already in). But NO. I don't have to, and I tell them that (in a nice way ;)

And I'm always *that* parent (sigh).
It would be MUCH easier to just roll with everything, but that's not who I am.
