#WritersCoffeeClub June 7: Do you avoid expressions, idioms, colloquialisms, or embrace them?
That depends on the work. In the end, I'm going to guess that everyone lets at least a little slip through, but I tend to save the best for people who already are supposed to be from somewhere.
Though I will say some things are pretty fun. Like how in Jerako, "throw in the towel" means something completely different because a towel there can absorb up to an Olympic-size swimming pool and we'll say a losing high dive team got salty once.
