Right now I’m considering sitting outside in the sun for a bit. Since my time has value, by the same argument, sitting in the sun isn’t free. Nothing is free that takes up any time at all in our consciousness. In which case, how is it contributing to the discussion to point that out? And what does “free” even mean in that world view? It clearly has very little resemblance to everyday uses of the word.
