Electra Aero (Springfield, OH) is an interesting aerospace start-up. I'm NOT a fan of pure electric aircraft. But, Electra is hybrid - gas engine drives generator and electric motors. It's short take off and landing requiring as little as 150 ft runway. It is efficient in flight using little fuel, yet can carry 9 passengers. It's IFR, so supports all weather flight. Use case is commuter flights - micro-airport to micro or regular airport.
