Current situation with #linuxmint I don't know what went wrong as I did not install anything new recently or make drastic system changes other than to change "mount options" of a storage partition, not the one with the file system. (can that lead to this?) Last night everything was working well, I shut down as usual. Now I boot up to work and meet black screen of death.

So going to create a usb drive and try to run timeshift from there, as I hear that can fix things.
