this is a 2D skit i made back when i used to have my youtube channel.. every role is my voice.. it's a short-style (meaning vertical) video..
the cool thing about the 2D skits i made is that i actually i built (coded) my own animation editor back in november of 2024.. it took me about 2 months of constant daily programming to get it in to a working alpha state that i could use, and then i started using it to make these skits.. i made the animation editor using Godot.. the reason i decided to make my own animation editor was because i got so sick of how hard it was in video/animation editors to animate things that SHOULD be simple, but they all want to make you use the keyframe system, and it's janky as hell.. And so the revolutionary thing about the animation editor that i made is that it DOES NOT use keyframes; instead it records your mouse movements in real-time, so all you have to do is just move your mouse like how you want the item to animate and it records it in real-time.. and then you record the next aspect.. it's kind of similar to when you record a music track but each time you are recording a different instrument.. In this animation editor some times the mouse would be controlling position of an item/character, and then you record the rotation next, or scale, or color shift, etc.. and each run is completely controlled by your mouse.. so any way, when you see this video of sugarbear's past, all the animation/movement and color effects etc were done using my own animation editor i made..
